Vaxholm

Vaxholm was just off the main ferry route into Stockholm, but all the small outer-island ferries seemed to call there. It boasted a nice marina, with free showers that worked well, a happy crew of young staff who sold fresh bread and cups of coffee as well as taking the harbour dues, and an excellent chandlery shop just by the daily outdoor vegetble market.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the chart that Robin wanted, but next door but one was the SystemBolaget shop, which had more varieties of red wine in boxes than all the British supermarkets put together. The prices, for Sweden, didn't seem too bad, so I decided to stock up and put them into "bonded stores".
